Our solution

Optimise the way you handle your GDPR data and take a leap into the future.

We start with a one-time scan of your files and systems, after which you receive a report specifying your organisation's level of GDPR-compliance; it provides you with detailed insight into where your organisation stores GDPR-sensitive data. After this initial scan, you move to incremental, periodical, monitoring of which new personal data is added. The periodicity is for you to determine: daily, weekly or monthly.

1. Scans both structured and unstructured data

The platform scans databases, cloud systems, on-premise systems and file shares. Structured data and documents in folder structures are included in all scans.

Unstructured data, even when embedded in structured data (such as Word or Excel attachments in database fields), is separately scanned with AI and OCR.

2. Reports storage locations of your data

The software reports per type of personal data in which files or documents GDPR-sensitive data occurs, the nature of the data and its location within folder, table or record.

This allows you to immediately see where risks lie and helps you determine priorities for correction or cleanup.

3. Facilitates a workflow for follow-up actions

Within the workflow, you determine the appropriate action per type of personal data reported:

  • Flag as 'false alarm.'
  • 'Ignore once': this data may be retained.
  • Mark as 'previously corrected'
  • Anonymise or delete (choose).

All steps are recorded in a complete audit trail.

4. Allows you full control over your GDPR-data

Allows you to delete or anonymise reported GDPR-data as suits your policy and data governance.

  • Mask with asterisks or make illegible.
  • Replace with a pre-determined fixed value.
  • Replace with a value from a dataset of alternative values.
  • Delete a page.
  • Delete a document.
  • Partially substitute by a placeholder.
