Who are we and what do we do – in a nutshell
DataQualityCompany was founded by a team of data specialists with a shared mission: to structurally help organisations comply with GDPR-legislation. The mission was fed by what we see in our daily lives: in many companies, the amount of privacy-sensitive data has increased exponentially, while those same companies lack insight in and control over this data.
Companies collect, store and report substantial amounts of personal data, but often lack control over the exact location of that data, its legal retention period and if it should to be deleted or anonymized. We make that process transparent and 'actionable' as our user-friendly platform combines scanning, reporting and follow-up.
Our Story
It is our daily work to operate at the intersection of data, privacy and IT operations. Hence, we developed a solution to help organisations to quickly and controllably identify privacy-sensitive data. Using smart AI and OCR, we detect personal data in both structured and unstructured sources.
'Ease-of-use', a strong initial assessment and subsequent incremental monitoring are at the heart of our approach. We focus on structural improvement rather than on incidental clean-up, thus facilitating a continuous, demonstrable route to GDPR-compliance.

Our team combines experience in data analysis, computer vision, IT architecture, governance and implementation. We help organisations to gain insight into personal data located in their IT landscape. Subsequently, we support execution of the next steps: classify, anonyme or delete and provide evidence of safeguarding.
